Our client is looking for a Full - time Bookkeeper to join their team at their office in Bolton. The role is busy and varied, working for a reputable owner managed business.

Flexible working hours approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Full-Time Bookkeeping / Accounts role

• Processing accounts payable and receivable and manage supplier invoices using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and other cloud based accounting software varying upon client requirements
*Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, Amazon, ebay, shopify and petty cash
• Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing journals, accruals and pre-payments
• Reconciliation of debtors and creditors
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Providing help and support to the Payroll department
• Supporting the smooth running of office by providing administrative support to management as requested (answering the telephone and other administrative services)

Successful Candidate For The Bookkeeping Position

• You must have previous experience in a Bookkeeping / Finance role to be considered
*The ability to manage and organise their own portfolio of clients
• The role requires a high level of attention to detail / a flexible approach
• Experience of managing supplier invoices and payments
• Strong skills with Xero and Quick Books
• Solid interpersonal and communication Skills
• Hardworking person who enjoys a stand-alone accounts role within a small office / team

Salary 26k Dependant upon Experience
